I think this was such a great idea!!! This way you get to see the grooms reaction to the brides dress (if married in the temple).
Also, as a photographer, it is nice so that we can take our time before wedding day for pictures. On the wedding day we always seem to be a little rushed to get to the luncheon or reception.
